The World Community program is open to any youth worldwide ages 7 to 18. It serves as the Community of Christ religious emblems award. The program and awards qualify as the religious emblem award for Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. Regardless of the age level, for the first award the youth should receive the World Community emblem, a level-specific pin, and a certificate. If the youth earned level one and goes on to earn level two, the young person receives a pin specific to level two and a certificate.
Before ordering a religious emblem medal the youth needs to have completed the requirements for his/her emblem and the final review with his/her counselor. The first step in the process is to “Register Youth” (i.e. provide information on the youth, congregation, clergy, etc.) for submission in reports sent to the Community of Christ Church and the appropriate youth agency. Once you have completed this step you will be able to place your order. Records for emblems earned are maintained by P.R.A.Y.
