Shipping & Returns

Same Business Day Processing

Orders received by 8am central time will be reviewed by P.R.A.Y. and, if approved, will be processed within one business day. P.R.A.Y. is currently shipping on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If there are any discrepancies or questions especially regarding awards and the required youth registrations, your order will be held until you have been contacted. Please provide daytime contact information so that the P.R.A.Y. staff can reach you in a timely manner. In case of inclement weather in St. Louis, the P.R.A.Y. office may operate on a snow schedule which may also delay order processing.

Effective October 1, 2020, P.R.A.Y. booklets are $5.00 each, but with two exceptions: the new God and Me Student Workbook will be $6.00, and the new God and Me Counselor Manual will be $8.00.  

Shipping Policy for Books

Orders received by 8am central time through the online store or by fax will be processed and shipped the same business day.  Orders received by mail will be processed and shipped within two business days of receipt. But while we guarantee a very quick turnaround time, book orders are sent Media Mail through the US Post Office and we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date through Media Mail. You may choose to upgrade your shipping for faster delivery. Shipping to other than the continental US (including APO, FPO and US Territories) will require additional fees. See below for specific information.

Standard Postage/Handling Fee for books provides Media Mail service through the United States Postal Service. It is a Book Rate, which means it is slower than First Class Mail (USPS.com indicates 2-9 days for delivery, however delivery times may vary, especially during holiday seasons). 

Calculate Standard Handling Fee:

1 book  = $3.00
2 or more books = $3.75 plus $.25 per book
100 or more books = $28.75

Additional Shipping Options - for book orders

(Please note that these charges for expedited shipping are in addition to the Standard Handling Fee.) 

Priority Mail is provided through the United States Postal Service. Packages are usually delivered within 2-3 business days (but this is not a guaranteed delivery time).  The cost for Priority Mail depends upon the number of books ordered.  There is a Flat Rate Priority Envelope for an additional $8.50, and a Flat Rate Priority Box for an additional $15.00.   

Expedited Shipping - Only available by contacting the P.R.A.Y. office for rate quote.  Orders will be delivered in 1 or 2 days depending on your zip code. (Remote areas will take longer.) Deliveries are made Monday through Friday - No Weekend Deliveries. Customers must provide a street address and correct zip code (UPS cannot deliver to P.O. boxes). A day phone number is also required. 

International Shipping - (APO / FPO)
Book orders to APO / FPO addresses will be automatically upgraded to Priority Mail. The cost to upgrade to Priority Mail is an additional $8.50 (for up to 10 books) and additional $15.00 (for up to 50 books). Rates and order quantities subject to change.

International Shipping - (Non APO / FPO)
(Shipping outside the continental USA)

Additional shipping charges of $35.00 will apply to international orders for up to 10 books. Customers must select "Expedited Shipping" even though this fee will apply to International First Class Mail.  Actual shipping fees will be determined upon receipt of order and any additional charges or partial refund of shipping fees (based on actual weight of package) will be determined at that time. Rates and order quantities subject to change.

Shipping Policy for Youth Emblems

Orders received by 8am central time through the online store or by fax will be processed and shipped the same business day.  Orders received by mail will be processed and shipped within two business days of receipt.  But while we guarantee a very quick turnaround time, medal orders are sent First Class Mail through the US Post Office and we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date through First Class Mail. You may choose to upgrade your shipping for faster delivery.  Shipping to other than the continental US (including APO, FPO and US Territories) will require upgraded shipping at additional cost. Confirmation emails are sent at the end of the business day. Customers who provide a legible email address will receive confirmation at the end of the day that their orders were processed.

Required Registration Fee
This fee is $1.00 per recipient.  This is a required fee for all youth recipients.  (Please note: Counselors/Mentors do not have to pay this registration fee).

There is a $6.00 postage/handling fee to ship recognition items.  This fee will be assessed per shipping address (orders shipped together are assessed one fee).  Standard shipping is First Class Mail through the United States Postal Service.  You may choose to upgrade your shipping at additional cost - see below.

Adult Awards are processed within 5 business days of receipt.  Please note this requires a complete nomination form with required signatures and a letter of recommendation.

Return Policy

Items may be returned within 30 days of receipt. Only the cost of the actual item(s) purchased will be refunded—not the shipping and handling charge.

Emblems and pins must be returned in a box (shipping them in an envelope will not protect them from damage). Merchandise that is not properly packaged and damaged in shipping will not be issued credit.

Customers must contact P.R.A.Y. or complete a Return Request on the P.R.A.Y. website. Please allow a minimum of 14 days to process any return. Adjustments to credit cards should appear within two billing cycles.
