Etz Chaim Medal & Certificate

For Jewish Boy Scouts and Venturers (co-ed), grades 9–12

The Etz Chaim (Tree of Life) religious emblem is designed for Boy Scouts in high school, ages 14 to 17, and registered Venturers, ages 14 to 20. This emblem encourages young adults to explore adult Jewish roles in the context of family, community, and Jewish people. The requirements can be completed in six months and with a counselor’s assistance.

Before ordering a religious emblem medal, the youth needs to have completed the requirements for his/her emblem and the final review with his/her counselor. The next step is to “Register Youth” (i.e. provide information on the youth, congregation, clergy, etc.) for submission in reports sent to the National Jewish Committee on Scouting and the Boy Scouts of America. Once you have completed this step you will be able to place your order (you do NOT need to mail in the signed appliation forms). Records for emblems earned are maintained by P.R.A.Y.
